Fifteen Dunwoody Fencers, Coaches and Parents visited our sister club, Esgrima Para Todos in Panama City, Panama during the first week of April.  DFC Fencers trained, socialized and competed in our first joint International Tournament.  Dunwoody Fencing Club was sponsored by Heather Coble, Economic Affairs Officer for the U.S. Embassy in Panama, who arranged a variety of site-seeing tours, shopping and introductions to Panamanian fencing at Esgrima Para Todos.

Head Coach Kathy Vail and Coach Richard Shaw worked with Esgrima Para Todos coaches and fencers of both clubs on footwork and bladework drills, warm up games and building club participation.

It was an exciting time and we have built many lasting friendships.  Photos of our trip are posted below.
