USFA - National Championships - 2009 Congratulations to all of our Dunwoody FC fencers who competed at the 2009 Nationals! In a field composed of the top 25% of fencers in the nation, our fencers fenced strong and represented our club well. I am very proud of all of you.
The Highlights: Eric Funk began the competition with a top 32 finish in Y14 mens epee earning National points. He then fenced to a top 16 finish in Cadet mens epee earning his "B" rating and taking a spot on the Cadet National points standings. He finished the competition earning the Bronze Medal in Div. II mens epee and re-earning his "B" rating. Eric is now an automatic qualifier for Cadet and for Div IA at Nationals in 2010. Way to fence, Eric!
