Dunwoody Fencing Club


	Dunwoody Fencing Club is the only United States Fencing Coaches Association Guild Academy Club in Georgia. This designation identifies clubs that demonstrate the gold standard of coaching. All of our Coaches are Certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association. We offer Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced level training. Private instruction is also available. Our Beginning level classes are designed to introduce students to the exciting art of Olympic fencing, teach fundamentals, build stamina, and increase self esteem. 	Congratulations to the 2009 GA. High School Fencing League Champions Coached by Dunwoody Fencing Club. Helen Li, Womens Epee John Powell, Mens Epee Northview High School, Womens Team & Overall Team Champions Alpharetta High School, Mens Team


	Head Coach Kathy Vail, is a USFA Certified Epee Coach who completed her training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. She is past Chairman of the Georgia Division of the United States Fencing Association and a current member of the Executive Board. She is the co-founder and current Vice-Chairman of the Georgia High School Fencing League. Coach Vail also serves as the United States Fencing Association Regional Youth Coordinator for the Southeastern US.
